Venue Information

Venue Capacity
We host weddings and receptions on Fridays, Saturdays + Sundays. No other weekdays.
Our outdoor Park can accommodate up to 400 guests. 
Venue Rental Period + Overages
Getting Ready for Your Ceremony
Venue is accessible from 1:00pm - 1:00am to include setup, event time and clean up. All vendors being access at 1pm. Last song + Last call for the bar at 10:55 pm. All guests must exit by 11:30 pm. End times will be enforced by venue staff and security.
​We are pleased to now offer a space for storing of personal items, outfit changes, etc. While we don't recommend getting ready on property, it's a great nook to change or have a few private moments before your wedding!

Groom and Groomspeople alike are welcome to utilize our indoor Atrium space at no charge. 

Catering + Bar Services
On-Site Kitchen + Refrigeration
Eureka Building works with preferred vendors for catering, beverage, and coordinating/or planning.
We allow food trucks or cart vendors for a $250 fee per truck.
We allow outside caterers for a fee of $1,000.
​We do not allow outside bartenders. Each of our bar service vendors offer BYO for our venue.
Eureka does not offer an on-site kitchen. All Eureka preferred caterers are aware of our kitchen policy and provide proper estimations for their prep area in their proposals. Outside caterers will need to visit the venue prior to wedding day to see our venue and make appropraite pop-up kitchen plans.
Rehearsals
Restrooms
For wedding ceremonies, we do allow for a complimentary 1-hour rehearsal to be scheduled based on availability against other weddings and events. 
We provide a soft hold for wedding rehearsal requests more than 30-days out from wedding day and are able to confirm wedding rehearsals at exactly 30-days from wedding day. 

Our Park offers two restroom facilities that can accommodate most guest counts.
Our women's facility offers three private stalls and our men's facility offers one private stall + two additional urinals. 
Eureka provides all restroom supplies and materials. 

Parking
Gratuities
Parking at Eureka is complimentary and is available to your guests for no charge. Overnight parking is also acceptable as we recommend all guests that plan on consuming alcohol call for other transportation from your event (Uber or Lyft).
Gratuity for venue staff is not included in our venue fee.
Gratuities are recommended and can be presented on the day of your event by cash or check.
Appointments + Planning Meetings
In addition to your initial visit with us during your venue search and your final walk through before your special day, we are able to meet with clients for up to two designated meetings as-needed (includes final walk through with Eureka's Event Director). Clients are able to schedule appointments with their vendors to come by at anytime on their own with minimum 48-hour notice. 
Client Provided Items
Eureka staff is not responsible for the setup of any client personal items or execution of DIY items such as guest book, card boxes, etc. Planners or weddings coordinators + their team are responsible for the setting out all personal items. 
Security
Last Call + Event Wrap Up
​As a safety precaution, we require a security guard for the core hours of your event. The fee is $150 for 5 hours. We require 1 guard for every 140 guests. The security fee + local sales tax are invoiced no later than 1-week prior to your wedding day. 
Last call for bar service and last song is at 10:55pm. 
All guests must exit by 11:30 pm. All strike to be completed by 1:00 AM.

Venue Staffing

Power, WiFi, Lighting and Sound

Eureka's venue staffing is serviced by an outside vendor. Eureka's venue staff functions as the point of contact for the venue on the day of your wedding and will work in tandem with your chosen Wedding Coordinator + hired vendors to ensure a smooth experience for all parties. 

Eureka's event staff will be on-site for venue provided furniture set up based on layouts discussed during vendor planning meetings. Staff is on-site to oversee details involving venue-provided items, to work in support of supplying vendors with power sources, and other setup needs. Coordinators and planners are to work with Eureka event staff on the day of the event to ensure execution of all final details.

We provide all client contact information to venue staff upon booking + they will reach out for invoicing and preparations no later than 30-days prior to your wedding day.

Trash

Eureka provides trash cans with venue rental along with trash bags + other receptacle liners. Venue staff is responsible for emptying all venue trash cans.  
Eureka offers sufficient power for standard wedding vendors such as one DJ/Emcee, Photo booth, and one additional vendor who may require a a designated 20-amp circuit. Additional power requests will most likely require an additional generator. However we will do our best to provide guidance on a power run during your final walk through.

​Eureka offers complimentary WiFi that is suitable for use of DJ's + photo booth vendors. Our complimentary WiFi is not intended to live stream weddings and additional considerations may be required for such needs. 

Eureka's Park offers ample market lighting along with most of our beautiful trees being wrapped in warm twinkle lights. 

Eureka does not provide any sound equipment, panels, or microphones as this will typically come from your hired DJ or entertainment. 

Heaters, Potable Water, Ice and Ladders

BYO Alcohol

Eureka is able to rent four heaters to clients for an additional rental of $65/heater. You are welcome to rent and bring in additional heaters. 

Eureka does not have a potable water hookup. Any water intended for food and beverage service must be brought in. 

Eureka does not have an available ice machine. 

​Eureka is not able to provide ladders to vendors for liability reasons. 
All weddings may supply their own alcohol (beer, wine, champagne, and liquor). There is no additional corkage fee. Weddings that choose to sell alcohol must secure necessary permits and licenses. Eureka requires that all weddings have hired bartenders from Eureka's preferred bartending list. Alcohol may be dropped off the day-prior to your wedding day although amount of storage may depend on existing wedding schedule. 

We do not allow shots. We do allow "on the rocks". 

Smoking

Pet Policy

City of Irvine is considered a smoke-free city. However, we provide one smoking receptacle for attendees on the outside perimeter of the Park venue. 
Eureka is proud to accommodate all four-legged friends regardless of service or ESA status. We kindly ask that all pets be picked up after and all safety related to your pet be kept to clients responsibility. 

Candles + Sparklers

Venue Clean Up

Eureka allows real candles in our venue. However, for safety we ask that they be contained or have some type of cover. 

​Eureka allows sparkler exits. We kindly ask that clients provide all buckets, water, etc. 

We do not allow confetti or smoke bombs. 
Eureka's venue staffing is not responsible for waitstaff needs such as cleaning off of plates and clearing tables. This service can most likely be added through your caterer, however this is not a service food trucks offer. We are happy to recommend waitstaff vendors to you. 

Wedding Coordination

Wedding Coordinator
Outside Coordinators
Eureka requires a professional wedding coordinator for all weddings being held in our venue. 

Wedding coordinators should not be a family member, member of the wedding party or an invited wedding guest. 

If you have chosen to hire an outside wedding coordinator who has not worked here before, we have an additional form for them to fill out. They are required to attend at least one in-person meeting prior to your wedding day. 
Coordinator Requirements
  • Must provide general liability insurance
  • Hired wedding coordinator cannot be an invited guest, close relative, or family member
  • Should provide, at minimum, one to two day-of assistants with them 
Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Be present for final walk-through (typically no earlier than 30 days before and no later than week-of wedding)
  • Create and share day-of timeline for wedding to supply to Eureka Building and other vendors
  • Organize and coordinate the ceremony rehearsal if ceremony is to be held at Eureka
  • Confirm call times, delivery logistics, and details with all vendors several days prior to the wedding day
  • Full communication with Eureka Building and other vendors one week before wedding day to confirm details
  • Be a liaison with family, bridal party, all vendors and venue manager
  • Setup any and all client-provided items day-of wedding (Welcome Table, DIY items, etc)
  • Deliver & arrange ceremony programs, escort and place cards, favors, etc.
  • Coordinate ceremony and reception from beginning to end
  • Be present for and ensure all vendor deliveries and timelines on event day
  • Collect any personal items at the end of the event, including wedding gifts
  • Coordinator or assistant should be present during the duration of the venue rental period - including all scheduled deliveries, setup, actual event execution & clean up
**Contracts and bookings can only be processed directly through Eureka's Venue Manager. If anyone is attempting to represent our venue or business that is not listed on our Team page, do not render them any deposits or fee's and we encourage you to reach out to us immediately. ​
